Wisdom of the Leaves and Flowing with Change

creativity, change, fall, leaves, orange, creative flow

Hi there creative souls!

I’m heading out to visit family for a week on the east coast. I’m looking forward to the seeing the beautiful, colorful leaves and embracing a change of pace away from the computer as I catch up with friends and loved ones.

My travel plans will keep me from crafting blog posts for a few weeks, but I’m looking forward to a technology break and the chance to explore new creative insights I can share with all of you soon.

Go back and revisit my extensive archives if you are feeling a little ungrounded or want something positive to read, or simply head outdoors for a little extra creative motivation!

Most importantly, keep this week’s featured quote in mind. I didn’t write one of my own this time (rare, I know), but I really like the sentiment of this quote as it relates to creative change.

Each time you say goodbye to something that has served you or a creative idea that has come full circle, be grateful. It’s all part of a cycle of learning, growing and getting ready for the new. With all of the unpredictable energy swirling about right now, it’s hard to remember gratitude and release is a necessary part of change and creative flow.

So as each leaf falls in your own life, express gratitude, appreciation and any necessary forgiveness towards yourself or another. It’s not a goodbye as much as it’s a hello to something new in the cycle of life that moves you closer to what you want and need to grow.

The best part of any seasonal change is how you can use it to set yourself free from something or set yourself up to embrace something else. Use these seasonal invitations to help you move through different personal growth levels, especially very deep ones, towards inspiration and new life.

Where will you focus your energy these next few weeks? What can you let fall away, trusting something new is ready to blossom soon?
